Škrape, Punta Mira, Ploče, Lokvica & Rt Gaj

This is the nearest and closest walking distance set of small  beaches that you can find near our house.

It spreads almost from city center all the way to the end of the road and walking trail on Rt Gaj where it connects to the Babe beach.

​​Planjka (Trinćel)

The beach is located 2 kilometers from our house. It is covered with fine sand, it’s warm and shallow. It has 2 restaurants and 2 beach bars. The beach has a blue flag since the summer of 2004. In the sea in the shallows there are swings and a large slide, you can also rent umbrellas and deck chairs,pedal boats, canoes, stand up pedal boards, jet ski and other sports. You can also play volleyball and beach soccer.This beach is great for families with children.

Parties are recently also beeing organized on one part of the beach.

 

Babe

Babe beach lies in a shallow cove west of Novalja. This is the shallowest and warmest of all Novalja beaches, with fine sand and beautiful turquoise sea. In recent years the beach has been enriched by restaurants and recreational facilities and recently added floating aquapark. From our house you can go 20 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by car. It has free parking place. It’s very nice for families.

 

Caska

Caska beach is located east of Novalja, on the site of the former Roman city which, according to legend, was destroyed by an earthquake in the 4th century and whose remains can still be found in close proximity to the beach and the sea bottom. Access to the sea is mostly sandy. There are restaurants and recreational facilities on the beach.

 

Lokunje

Lokunje is the Novalja town beach, located along the southern edge of the Novalja Bay. It’s pebbly, shallow and warm, with a large green belt, which makes it pleasant for vacationing and cooling off during the hot summer days.

It’s full of young people, there are few beach bars there with loud music. It’s 10 minutes walk away from apartments Luna.

 

Zrće

The Zrće Beach is located southeast of Novalja and tells a special story. It’s the most beautiful beach in Novalja and very big. Numerous sports, recreation and entertainment facilities and high quality restaurants can be found on the beach, while a few attractive night clubs offer entertainment throughout the night (Kalypso, Noa, Nomad, Euphoria, The Octopus, Rocks beach club and many others). Zrće has the blue flag status from 2003. The beach is located about 2 km from Novalja, has a large parking area and during the tourist season it is linked by public transport.

 

Ručica

Ručica beach is located 1 km from Metajna and it can be reached by boat or by car. The beach is a combination of shingle and sand, without a natural shade and with a few catering facilities. The beach can be reached on foot from the parking through the picturesque area called the Canyon.

This beach is very special and very beautiful.
